Left Lane is for cruising
If you have not already noticed, I get to visit suburbia quite a bit on the weekends. I hit the big box stores to get essentials. These trips provide me with all the material I need.
How hard is it to figure out that the left lane is for passing. This seems like it goes over the head of suburban drivers. If you want to drive slower, move into the right lane. It is simply rude to hold people to...

Grocery Store
Why is it that in suburban grocery stores their are those carts that take up half the isle that look like cars and play toys for kids to be in? Do we really need to make it more of a pain for the other shoppers who just want to get in, get out and get on with their lives. When I go to my city market, I never see these things. City dwellers train their kids how to act in the store. In makes sense...
Not So PC
I read an article in the paper today about suburban high schools in Colorado who have mascots with the names Savages, Indians and Warriors in them. The schools and communities are upset because Colorado is considering a law that would make it so that the high schools would have to get permission from the Native American communities to continue using these mascots.
What really got me going is that...
Choice Autos
I had no issues when suburbanites drove minivans but now everyone is driving SUV’s. If you own an SUV you need to know how to park and drive it. Too many times I am in suburbia and I get stuck behind someone in an SUV that needs 9 attempts to get into a 45 degree angle parking spot. Ridic.

5 Quotes for Today
I put this on both blogs just because I liked it. No worries I have plenty of Suburban contempt to go around.
-I don’t need drugs. Life is already tragic enough. -Eddie Vedder
-You only live once but if you do it right, once is enough. -Unknown
-You can shear a sheep many times but you can only skin him once. -Amarillo Slim
-A man with money is no match against a man on a mission. -Doyle...
Puzzling
When I am in the Burbs’ I notice people wait for the walk signals on the cross walks, even if there is no traffic. It is like they are waiting for an invitation that it is okay to go. I pass people who wait for the signal. One of these days I am going to get hit and will warrant the look I get from the people I pass on the curb.

Beside writing about my frustrations with the suburbs, I also write a blog that is more about hi-jinx and life. Please check that one out as well. I also update it more.

Parking
I could go on all day about parking lots but in the burbs people just troll for the best spot. They slowly creep down the lanes looking for the perfect spot. Does it really matter if you have to walk a little further. Lets simply park and get on with our lives.
It is such a double standard too because if a suburbanite is behind you in the parking lot and you are not moving quickly enough, they...
Dinner Time New Years Eve
Well, it looks like it is time to celebrate new years in suburbia, where shall we go, Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill. I wonder if anywhere is going a celebration at 10:30? I have to be up early for Yoga and if I do not make it to yoga my entire 2010 is shot.
