Karma
So I have not written about this because I keep forgetting. The wedding season is finally over for me which has me super stoked. At the Toledo wedding I saw the old friend who I wrote about earlier who has been stonewalling me. We were best friends for years upon years and then he quits talking to me. I see him at my friend’s wedding and he does his best to avoid me. I finally walk up to him at the bar and all he can say to me is “Staying out of trouble I hope?”
WHAT? Can you chose a more generic smoozy thing to say? Since I did not want to ignite anything, I gave and confused look and said “I guess so.” Karma does work in mysterious ways though. After giving me a lame greeting and avoiding me he and his wife went a bit overboard with the booze at the rehearsal dinner and ended the night by falling flat on their asses on the dance floor at a Toledo pub.
Staying out of trouble indeed.
