I know I sound like a complete music snob here but I despise the large concert crowds these days. The venues are always full of people who go to one concert a year so they need to go all out, get wasted and throw common show manners out the window. Simply Stated: I do not like large venue concerts because they tend to attracted non-show going crowds. Maybe I just like shows rather than concerts (not sure if those 2 words are one in the same, thoughts?).
Maybe I am just jaded because my last large venue show I witnessed the people standing next to me trample us, a dude behind me get puked on by a drunk concert goer 2 rows behind me and the dude next to me get escorted out because security caught him “playing with himself” (security officer’s words).
Ah give me a dive bar with a crowd that understands etiquette.
